Neon Digital wants everyone to be able to use neon.ie, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. This statement covers www.neon.ie.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We believe the site meets this standard, apart from the third-party content listed below.
What we have done
- Text and buttons meet WCAG colour contrast ratios.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use clear headings, a main landmark and page language, so screen readers can find their way around.
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms have labels, mark required fields and tell you when something needs fixing.
- Animations are gentle, stop within five seconds, and switch off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Pages reflow on small screens and when zoomed to 400%, with no sideways scrolling.
Accessibility options
Select the accessibility icon in the header, or “Accessibility options” in the footer, to change how the site looks. You can make text larger, turn on high contrast, stop animations, underline links, widen text spacing or switch to an easy-read font. Your choices are saved in your own browser and are not shared with us. These options are extras: the site is built to be accessible without them, and works with your own browser and device settings too.
Known limitations
- Google Maps on the Contact page is provided by Google. Our address is also written out in full beside the map.
- Calendly booking pages are run by Calendly. If you have trouble booking, email us and we will arrange a time.
Feedback and help
If you find anything on this site hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please email services@neon.ie or use our contact form. We aim to reply within two working days.
How we test
We test the site with automated tools (axe) and by hand, using keyboard-only navigation, screen zoom and narrow screen sizes. We review accessibility whenever we make significant changes.
